Grade 3 & 4 students explore the Nutrien Centre on the Stampede grounds to take part in the Journey 2050 program. This program is created with hands on and interactive learning materials connected to both Social Studies and Science curriculums. Students were able to gain a greater understanding behind the meaning of agricultural sustainability and the important role farming communities play around the world in producing food for our growing populations.
It was excellent to be off campus once again and allow our students an opportunity to experience a field trip that created meaningful and insightful connections to the curricular content.
