The Delta West Academy Foundation (DWAF) is an independent Society dedicated specifically to fundraising. Families automatically become members of the DWAF upon enrolment and elect a fully parent-run board at the Annual General Meeting.
The DWAF is responsible for choosing the fundraising activities for the coming school year, organizing volunteers and distributing the funds based on a school wish list. The DWA Foundation has made a conscious decision to respect the time parents spend fundraising and has limited the fundraising events to a few large ones every year rather than many smaller ones.
DWAF efforts support our school community and students with scholarships, special projects and events, and long-term building funds. For our next Fundraising event, please see our Fundraising page

DWA Foundation is hosting it's inaugural DWA Marathon on Saturday, May 30th. There will be a 1km kids run, and a 5km family walk/run. It should be a great community event and an opportunity to be active together. Check communication from the office for details about registration and to enter our 50:50 draw for a chance to win big!
